Caroline is a director in the firm, having founded OBW Solicitors, together with Paul and Lucy, in 2003.

Caroline qualified in 1997 and trained in the Basildon area, before moving to Colchester in 1999.

She represents clients in relation to a full range of criminal offences and has assisted offenders with mental health issues dealt with by Hospital Order. She has represented respondents on closure notices, free-standing applications for Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, and applications for Football Banning Orders.

Caroline has represented clients in some high profile cases including a police officer facing theft charges during the course of his duty, a female who harassed a celebrity by falsely imprisoning her in her home and other defendants involved in organised crime.

Caroline has appeared on the BBC's Inside Out program and Look East discussing delays in the criminal justice system.

Caroline is a Youth Court specialist and regularly defends young people in the local Youth Court in Chelmsford. Caroline’s aim is to ensure that the Court considers community penalties as an alternative to detention for youths.

Caroline is a member of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association. Caroline is a Higher Court Advocate and the practice's COLP.
